Existing was a 1970’s brick built bungalow .The Clients requirements were to capitalise on the views, increase the floor space and create a warm and inviting aesthetic to the property. The solution was an extension upwards, making it a two story dwelling. The size of the garden remained intact. The smaller ground floor bedroom was sacrificed for a double height entrance hall with gallery landing and rooflights above. Where possible we worked with the existing structure for cost efficiencies. The entire was clad in natural stone and the result has transformed the clients lifestyle.
