This project involved the demolition of a 1940’s Semi-detached bungalow that was in a particularly bad state of repair, replacing it with new a two storey semi. The new design compliments the adjoining semi and the row of dwellings of which it forms a part. The new semi is full of light, with a partially open plan ground floor. The new ground floor extends further to the rear and the feeling of space achieved within the new house is very surprising. It has under floor heating and achieves insulation values well above the norm.
